The New York Academy of Medicine: Impact of the SCOTUS Reversal of Roe v. Wade

The New York Academy of Medicine Women’s Health Research & Wellbeing Workgroup (WHRWB), in collaboration with the NYAM Library and the NYAM Section on Nursing, is hosting a convening to discuss the recent ruling by the Supreme Court of the United States that reverses Roe v. Wade, the precedent ruling establishing access to legal, safe abortions. Please join us as a historian, legal scholars, and clinicians engage in a forum discussing the many repercussions of this ruling. NYAM President-Designate Ann Kurth, PhD, MPH, MSN, CNM, FAAN, FACNM, Dean and Professor, Yale School of Nursing, will introduce the program to be moderated by the founder and co-chair of the WHRWB, Professor Danielle Laraque-Arena, MD, FAAP.
